Chess Beginner Lessons
On Wednesday, 11 November, De Queer Schaakclub is back with another chess beginner lesson. This time, we're diving into one of the most important (and satisfying) skills in chess: CHECKMATE. ♟️
You'll learn how to recognize mating patterns, deliver checkmate, and use checkmate threats to gain an advantage. Because sometimes the threat is even stronger than the move itself.
Completely new to chess? You're very welcome too. With two coaches, we'll split into groups. So whether you're completely new or already know your way around the board, there's something to learn.
As always, everyone is welcome, queer or ally.
Doors open at 0745PM. We start at 8PM.
KLUP, Tweede Schinkelstraat 26h, Amsterdam.
This lesson is free for members. We ask a donation of €5 or more (pay what you can) from non-members.
