    (Sex)Work It! is not here to behave. It is here to disrupt, challenge, and provoke. This is a space where sex workers take over Frascati’s stage as creators.

    Join us for the second edition of (Sex)Work It! in collaboration with Red Light Icons. This collective started out in the streets of the Red Light District as a call for visibility. Now they are taking over Frascati, with their Sex Workers Throughout History Fashion Show. During this evening, fashion, community, sex work and stories of resistance come together on the stage to explore, reinvent, and celebrate the history of sex work.

    Where does art end and sex work begin? And who decides it?

    (Sex)Work It! came to exist from the belief that there is no hard separation between art and sex work, as if one belongs to “culture” and the other to “taboo”. However, whereas art institutes in Amsterdam’s city centre are given municipal funding, sex workers operating in the same district currently fear the threat of being displaced out of the public sight.

    Amsterdam’s Red Light District has always been a as a vital location for sex work and has played a crucial role in the history of sex work. With (Sex)Work It! Frascati, located within the Red Light District, gives space for sex workers to come together and resist through art and community organizing.

    The Goldfish Bleeding is a performance wrestling show inspired by Latin American Lucha Libre, where social characters embody and battle current conflicts through freestyle dance wrestling, opening space for grief, anger, comedy and dreams for the future.

    This year’s edition, LIVING ON THE ENEMY’S LAND, asks: Who are the heroes of 2026?

    MATCH 1 — NAVAL BATTLE
    Frontex x Sumud Global Flotilla
    The sea becomes a territory of colonial conflict, where naval policing, corporate pinkwashing and climate resistance collide.

    MATCH 2 — ONLINE BATTLE
    New Wave R4d Pill x Corporate Feminism
    A battle around gender torture, online radicalization, corporate feminism and Techno Feudalism.

    Now housed at CC Amstel, The Goldfish Bleeding will return yearly over the next four years with new characters, conflicts and battles.

    Zeikstuk is een fysiek theaterstuk met mensen en wc’s. Een theatrale exploratie van het kleinste kamertje.

    De discussie over waar een trans persoon moet plassen komt steeds terug. Cis mensen zijn bang voor de plassende en poepende transgender medemens. Maar hoe plas je als je zo’n transgender medemens bent? Waar ga je heen en wat maak je mee in de woeste wereld van de openbare wc? Verhalen uit de pot gegrepen.

    Zeikstuk wordt gespeeld door 23 trans personen tussen de 18 en 65 jaar. Deze voorstelling wordt Engels ondertiteld en is rolstoeltoegankelijk.
