Too often the inclusion of queer narratives in the British and Irish film landscape are isolated to urban tales of found family, illicit activity and a general modern vs traditional culture dichotomy. While this represents vast populations of the queer society, it excludes the ‘ones left behind’; those that don’t want to trade their relationship with the land for their relationship with those they love. This programme investigates the nuance, pain and joy that exists for queer people in rural places in the British Isles.

    F*cking Fabulous Fundraising

    BlendXL, Reguliersdwarsstraat 44, Amsterdam

In the run-up to World Pride, we're joining forces for something that truly matters. Because Pride is more than partying, it's also fighting for safety, for space, for a place to call home.

That's why we're organising a F*cking Fabulous Fundraising for T-Huis: a safe home for the trans community in Amsterdam. A place where people can go for connection, coaching, legal support, clothing, and a symphatetic ear, including in conversations with the police, in an environment that feels safe.

Because yes, in 2026 safe spaces are unfortunately still necessary and far from a given. And we want to do something about that.

What to expect: An unforgettable evening filled with performances, an auction with incredible prizes, and the warmth of a community that comes together for a good cause.

All proceeds go to the T-Huis. Together, we'll make sure this place stays there for everyone who needs it.

Donate at the door, or scan one of the payment links that will be circulating throughout the evening. Auction items can also be paid via payment link.

Sign up through link in our bio so we can keep you in the loop, and bring your people.

Come. Dance. Give. Repeat. Doing good has never been this much fun. đŸłïžâ€âš§ïž

ReRoll Works, Van Woustraat 202A, Amsterdam

Every other Sunday (mostly), we're going BIG! From 13:00 to 22:00, it's all day gayming at our HQ.

With a bigger group, more tables and lots more time, these events have a something for everyone.

If you're in it for the long haul, there's usually a table with a crunchy 3 hour session of something like Nemesis or Unfathomable.
Many stay and grab food from a nearby restaurant to keep playing into the evening.

    Perfect for:
Complex strategy games that need breathing room
Trying out or revisiting your favourites
Socialising both in and out of games
    Learning new things without rushing
    Meeting fellow gamers

    What to expect:
A relaxed, marathon gaming atmosphere where you can start something ambitious at lunch and still have time to see it through properly, comfortably sitting alongside the multiple sprints of smaller games for those with a more bite-sized appetite for rules and play.

    When:
    Every other Sunday, 13:00-22:00

    Bring:
Your patience, snacks, and that game you've been dying to play properly

    Queer Talks | Relaties+

OBA oosterdok - Forum, Oosterdokskade 143, Amsterdam

Verschillende verhalen brengen nieuwe inzichten.

    Shortfilms
Deze keer vertonen we de shortfilms Lavender (10 minuten, Engels gesproken) en Looking she said I forget (25 minuten, Frans gesproken/Engels ondertiteld).

Queer filmzomer: Jimpa en The Watermelon Woman

    Ketelhuis, Pazzanistraat 4, Amsterdam

Queerboxing offers free boxing classes for anyone who wants to learn or try boxing in a safer, community-focused space. Our class is called Boxing Technique/Bag. It’s about doing something we might not be good at yet, but being brave enough to try anyway.

No experience is needed, everyone can box. This class is suitable for both beginners and more advanced boxers. If you’ve never boxed before, let us know if you are a beginner. But no worries, there are many cute boxers and experienced trainers who are happy to help you out.

Everyone deserves to feel safe. We aim to create a space where you can learn to box, build confidence, and hopefully feel a little safer in your body and in the world. It’s also a place to meet community, where friendships can grow

Coming of Age – by Porn Film Festival Amsterdam

Filmhuis Cavia, Van Hallstraat 52, Amsterdam

June is Pride Month, commemorating the Stonewall uprising. The Stonewall riots began in the early hours of June 28, 1969, when patrons of the Stonewall Inn in New York City's Greenwich Village resisted a police raid, sparking several days of protests. This uprising is widely considered the catalyst for the modern LGBTQ+ rights movement, leading directly to the first Pride march on June 28, 1970. To honour the Queer history with celebrations, reflection, and activism, Kissable Screens, a monthly sex positive screening of Cavia, will recall films that were presented at Porn Film Festival Amsterdam 2026.

Stories of transition. Stories of becoming. This block explores thresholds: the before and after moments that crack something open. Coming of age isn’t bound to youth or tied to outdated ideas of purity, nor to a mainstream porn category or religious initiation. It can happen at any time, in countless forms. These films trace self-discovery, sexual awakenings, escapes from what was, returns to the self and the unstable in-between spaces where identity is still forming.

    Poly stories: NRE Realms

    Treehouse NDSM, Neveritaweg 55-57, Amsterdam

Yes, you’ve met someone new. Have you been reached by a “heady rush of escalating emotional connection and hot juiciness?” Coined by Zhahai Stewart in the 1980s, ‘new relationship energy’ has seeped into love society and the world of ethical non-monogamy. You’ve heard it coming for your friend with a new crush every catch-up, but it may come for you, too. That stranger turned object of desire, appearing only in a cloud of pink, and every other thought? As it leaves you feeling unsteady without your next hit, this new player may leave your existing partner(s) feeling a certain way, too.

Sweet, sugary, and disruptive - such can be the nature of NRE. Feel-good hormones make every interaction rewarding. A six-month attachment phase begins. Behaviour may mirror that of this idealised person. Repeated urges to be close to them may overshadow longstanding connections with others. They may recognise this change in you from before, but don’t experience it first-hand. Compersion (happiness for you) turns sour as dates become deprioritised.

Is it all bad? No. In this edition of Poly Stories, we’ll find out how to make sure there’s enough romance to go around for all people involved, how to redirect commitment impulses to sustainable intentionality - whilst maintaining freedom to explore newness, and how to stay centered in your own identity when others’ modes of being are so exciting.

Allow for play and master your way around NRE. Riding the wave, with skill, may just be the ENM foundation you didn’t know you needed.

Boxing is from and for everyone!

That's why we are introducing our specially tailored FREE Queer Classes These classes are specifically for anyone under the queer umbrella. Our queer classes are specifically aimed at rookies but everyone is welcome.

Boxing gear available and bring your own if you have.

Queerboxing offers free boxing classes for anyone who wants to learn or try boxing in a safer, community-focused space. Our class is called Basic Bitch Boxing, in the most positive sense of the word. It’s about doing something we might not be good at yet but being brave enough to try anyway.

We embrace the idea that it’s okay to be a “basic bitch” sometimes. You don’t have to know everything or be strong or experienced. Trying, showing up, and showing up for yourself is what counts. No experience is needed, everyone can box. These lessons are especially suitable for people who are new to boxing, but if you’re more advanced, it’s a great way to get your basics back on track and practice your foundation.

Everyone deserves to feel safe. We aim to create a space where you can learn to box, build confidence, and hopefully feel a little safer in your body and in the world. It’s also a place to meet community, where friendships can grow.

If you have any injuries, limitations, or access needs, please let the trainer know in advance so we can adapt the exercises where possible.

    What can you expect?

    Kae Tempest

Amsterdamse Bostheater, De Duizendmeterweg 7, Amsterdam

    LoveBall

By MEIJT. @ The other side, Rigakade 10, Amsterdam

Relive the past. Celebrate love. Dance into the future. ✹💖

Loveball lands on sacred ground. The Other Side — a venue where nightlife lives, where freedom is felt, and where the energy of the dancefloor takes center stage. A space that invites you to let go, connect, and fully surrender to the music. đŸŒ™đŸ”„đŸŽ¶

Loveball is the official opening event of Pride Amsterdam 2026. On Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 10:00 PM until 5:00 AM, Pride Amsterdam opens with a night where the city comes together to celebrate freedom, inclusivity, and love. The Other Side Amsterdam sets the stage for this unforgettable kickoff. đŸŒˆđŸ€

Loveball is rooted in the legacy of Amsterdam’s legendary club culture. In the 80s and 90s, venues like Roxy and it defined a generation. They were places where house music, art, fashion and activism collided. Where the night was extravagant, provocative and radically free. Where self-expression was not only allowed, but celebrated. ✹👠

That spirit lives on at Loveball — powered by Diva Mayday, the creative force behind the event and one of the shining stars of the night. As an icon of expression, performance and unapologetic glamour, Diva Mayday embodies the very essence of Loveball and brings its vision to life on and beyond the dancefloor. 💎👑💋

Expect an immersive musical journey driven by house music, featuring leading DJs and live performances by national and international artists. From deep, hypnotic grooves to uplifting, high-energy house sounds that will carry you through the night and into the early morning. đŸ”ŠđŸ–€đŸŒ…

Line-up to be announced shortly. 👀✹

Surrounding this is a world of spectacular entertainment, bold performances and unexpected acts that stimulate the senses and complete the Loveball experience. đŸ”„đŸ’«

LoveBall gives back to the community:

At LoveBall, it’s not just about glitter, glamour, and dancing, we also celebrate the people who made it possible for us to live freely today. That’s why we support queer elders: the pioneers of the LGBTQ+ community who, in times of far less acceptance, fought for visibility, rights, and the freedom to be themselves.

Many elderly people, including queer elders, experience loneliness today. Some don’t feel safe being open about their identity in care homes due to fear of misunderstanding, even though they spent their lives fighting for love and equality. With LoveBall, we want to help change that through a financial contribution and by encouraging attention, connection, and joy, making special moments possible that enhance their wellbeing and quality of life.

Visitors will also have the opportunity on the night itself to donate voluntarily and directly support initiatives that uplift queer elders.

Together, we don’t just celebrate the present, we honor the past and help build a future in which no one is forgotten.

Loveball is more than a party. It is the beginning of Pride. đŸłïžâ€đŸŒˆ

It is a tribute to our past — and a celebration of what’s to come. 💞🚀

Love is not just a feeling. 💗It’s a celebration. Welcome to Loveball. 🎉 ✹

No experience is needed, everyone can box. This class is suitable for both beginners and more advanced boxers. If you’ve never boxed before, let us know if you are a beginner. But no worries, there are many cute boxers and experienced trainers who are happy to help you out.

    Queer Sport Social

By Pride & sports @ Ladderhuis, Westerpark, Amsterdam

During the opening weekend of Pride 2026, our very first edition of the Queer Sport Social event will take place: the most “sporty” meeting place by and for the queer community and our allies.
A vibrant celebration of athleticism, love, and pride, organized in collaboration with Amsterdam’s rainbow sports associations, clubs, groups, and collectives. Whether you’re a top athlete, a beginner, or just want to chill or chat with old and new friends, this is where you celebrate Pride through sport, enjoying the festive Kick-Off of Pride Month from the field or from the comfort of a beanbag. Play, eat, drink, connect, and party with us!

    Queer athletes, make yourselves heard!
Be one of the pioneers to spotlight queer sports in this festive way. Together, we’ll create a unique event where sport connects our community from all over the country. Think mini-tournaments, workshops, or demos.

This unique event takes place at the Ladderhuis in Westerpark, home of korfball club Sporting West.
There’s a large grassy field where we’ll set up stands to showcase various sports. We’ll also use the paved sports fields of Sporting West. Due to space, we’ll be creative with time and location. Cyclists and runners, for example, can start and finish at the event at one or more moments. Everyone gets a stage—no matter how big or small.

    Invite Your Mates and Network
Everyone’s welcome, even if your association, club, collective, or group isn’t a participating organisation. Rally your teammates and mates, mobilise your network, and invite your rivals from across the country too. Together, we’ll make sure we kick off Pride Month with as many people as possible on 12th July. Stay tuned!

    Mykki Blanco

By Club Chrome @ Melkweg, Lijnbaansgracht 234A, Amsterdam

From art project to queer icon. Mykki Blanco began as an experiment centred on a teenage girl posting vlogs and raps on social media. Just over a decade later, the artist has become a household name and a figurehead within the queer community – a reflection of self-discovery and identity through art.

Mykki has pushed hip-hop to unprecedented, unbounded limits by blending noise and experimental elements with club and trap influences, while carving out a distinctly subversive path within a genre historically entangled with problematic ideologies such as misogyny, homophobia and transphobia. While Blanco is widely recognised as a leading force within the so-called ‘queer rap’ sub-genre, their recent work signals a strong artistic evolution that breaks through genre boundaries.

Relating in the Dark for GBTQ men: World Pride edition

    de Ruimte, Weesperzijde 79A, Amsterdam

"This was absolutely my favorite workshop ever. I can't wait for the next one. Removing the clutter and distraction and judgment from my eyes supported me to drop in immediately to my own other senses and hearing and connection with the other. It was incredible."

    ~ Daniel

What do you notice when you stop looking?

In the dark, a new doorway opens. Come discover what's there.

After a wonderful series of events in Berlin, Edinburgh, Portland, San Francisco & LA, Relating in the Dark is coming to Amsterdam this August as part of World Pride, a special edition for gay/bi/queer/trans identifying men. 🌈

Grab a blindfold and dive deep into the enriching practices of Authentic Relating, Conscious Touch and Movement Meditation. ❀

By exploring intimacy without sight, we will delve into our intuitive nature, sharpening our capacity for deeper connection. We will use blindfolds to invite you into profound contact with your physical sensations and internal reality, creating permission to be fully, softly, powerfully yourself. 😎

    WHO is this event for?

This event welcomes all gay, bi, queer and trans men aged 18+.

This event is for any man who is seeking deeper connection, stronger community, consensual loving touch, or simply a safe space to just be yourself.

This event is also for you if you’ve been recently feeling blocked, anxious, lacking purpose or direction, and need to reground and remind yourself what's truly important and who you truly are.

My experience includes working with Highly Sensitive People (HSPs); neurodiverse people; people suffering from anxiety and depression; people going through major life shifts; and members of the LGBTQ+ community.

If you have any questions about whether the event would suit you, pop me a message and I’ll get back to you within 24 hours.

    WHAT will we explore?

The first 2.5 hours of the evening will be a facilitated journey, exploring movement, contact and relating, with and without vision and words, through Authentic Relating, Mindful Movement and Conscious Touch. The last 30 minutes will be an integrative open lounge space, as you let your eyes adjust to the visual world before leaving the container.

Authentic Relating is a pioneering communication practice that invites you to connect playfully and courageously, through radical honesty, active listening, and the permission to share what's truly alive in you. The practice draws you into presence, embodied awareness, and the rich space that emerges between people when masks come off.

Mindful Movement invites you into somatic flow, surrendering to what arises in and through your body as you move in connection with music, sometimes alone, sometimes with others. Follow impulse, release control, and let the body lead.

Conscious Touch is the practice of bringing deeper presence into physical contact with another person. Grounded in awareness of our own desires and boundaries, we explore touch as a genuine language, one that can soothe, heal and inspire delightful amounts of pleasure.

Please note: This workshop welcomes (mutually consensual) sensuality. Clothing may be removed but underwear kept on. There will be a boundary put on kissing and any sexual activity, but other forms of intimacy are welcome.

Poly Stories | Neurodivergent Love (Pride Special)

Treehouse NDSM, T.T. Neveritaweg 55-57, Amsterdam

ENM Storytelling Evenings | Treehouse NDSM (Amsterdam North)

THEME OF THIS EVENING: NEURODIVERGENT LOVE

This evening is part of the Pride Art Route and in collab with the QueerTropolis exhibit at Treehouse. As celebrating diversity in love and relating, this evening we dive into the diversity of the minds.

Being able to think outside the box, perhaps because your brain works a bit differently to
begin with, can be an excellent match with ethical non-monogamy. In this world, everyone
can design their own frameworks for relating to others romantically and/or sexually - far
away from societal scripts of mononormativity and relationship milestones. Everyone has
their own set of needs, boundaries, expectations and wishes.

Neurodivergence covers a broad spectrum of ways in which the brain may work or develop
otherwise than is considered typica.. It’s a non-medical term emphasizing that every individual has their own way of processing and behaving. Whilst not everyone who is neurodivergent has a diagnosis, common examples seen within the ENM community are ADHD and autism.

One may lean toward the impulsive versus stability, speaking from deep feeling or from logical directness, acting on moods or planning ahead to know what to expect. One may thrive in some additional structure, and the other loves the spark of the spontaneous. What may be common challenges for neurodivergent people within a normative society, may be superpowers in the world of ENM.

If one partner wants a little room for impulsivity to explore and get excited about new people,
and the other needs advance notice of events to strategically divide social battery, it's worth knowing how you tick. When you take off your mask, you can connect as you are.

    THIS IS FOR YOU WHEN
This evening is for anyone: whether you’re just starting out or already experienced in non-monogamy/open relationships/polyamory.

    Trans podium

    Paradiso, Weteringschans 6-8, Amsterdam

Headrush x Ben Manson - Amsterdam world pride edition

    Akhnaton, Nieuwezijds Kolk 25, Amsterdam

    QUEER. TECHNO. RAVE.

On August 7th, Headrush takes over the iconic Akhnaton for a night of relentless techno and fierce queer energy. From 23:00 until 05:00, we transform the basement into a rave sanctuary — an exclusive playground.

Headlining the night is Ben Manson, flying in from Paris — a respected force within the techno underground scene — delivering an extended 3-hour set built for deep immersion and uncompromising intensity on the Headrush floor.

And for those looking to explore beyond the music: MisterB will host an XXL playroom — a dedicated space where guests can connect, la play, and engage intimately with one another as part of the night’s experience.

This is not your usual party.

It’s a queer safe space where freedom, self-expression, and heavy beats come together — where community meets intensity on the dancefloor.

    Come ready. Come raw. 🚀
