    ICONIC is dĂ© queer pop party van hĂ©t moment. 3FM-dj Vera Siemons en TivoliVredenburg-programmeur Liza van den Brink zetten tijdens dit feest de dansvloer in lichterlaaie met queer joy. Wat begon als een uitverkocht succes in TivoliVredenburg, groeide uit tot een reizend feestje dat inmiddels ook de Grote Zaal van Paradiso en menig festival op z’n kop zet.

    ICONIC is tot stand gekomen in samenwerking met TivoliVredenburg.

    Een week voordat WorldPride losbarst is het al feest in Amsterdam. Gay dansfeest Danserette bestaat 20 jaar en dat wordt gevierd met een groot feest in Tolhuistuin. Op zaterdag 18 juli kun je losgaan op de greatest pink hits waarop je de afgelopen 20 jaar bij Danserette kon dansen. Vanaf de 80’s tot nu. Denk Kylie, Lady Gaga, Whitney, Sabrina Carpenter, Loreen, George Michael, Rihanna, Madonna, Loreen, Jennifer Lopez, Cece Peniston en zoveel meer. Als er maar een roze touch aan zit. Dat is Danserette.

    Danserette begon 20 jaar geleden in Akhnaton en organiseerde daarna feesten in onder andere Odeon, Hotel Arena, Tolhuistuin, Desmet en Westerunie. Ook Paradiso was al acht keer de locatie voor een feest, onder meer met de al vier keer uitverkochte special GAY80s90s. In 2012 voer Danserette met een eigen boot mee in de Canal Parade.

    For 2026, we’ve invited a selection of the most exciting innovators, collectives, and artists from across countries and cultures to shape 11 nights throughout July and the first weeks of August.

    PRIDE KNIGHTS (SEXYLAND)

    Is a collaboration between partners, banner-bearers, each representing an essential part of queer culture, community and artistic practice, and actively questioning what queer nightlife and cultural space can be. Together with BODY, No Limits! Art Castle and Elmer, PRIDE KNIGHTS is co-created into a programme that captures and celebrates the spirit of the times.

    By bringing these different worlds together, we are building an (alternative) Pride manifestation for the city; one with an exuberant activist programme that tries to be as accessible as possible, where alongside theatrical chaos there is space for a deeper conversation around the themes that play within and outside of Pride.

    With these banner-bearers, we attempt to express a hopeful message. A story that shows how things can be different.

Pride Is A Protest celebrates the roots of Pride as a movement for visibility, solidarity and collective action.     Deze viering is gebouwd op een gedeelde overtuiging van FURTHER en HE.SHE.THEY. dat dansvloeren de verantwoordelijkheid dragen om te beschermen, te includeren en mensen de ruimte te geven om volledig zichzelf te zijn, zonder concessies.

    Gedurende de nacht komt die intentie tot leven op de dansvloer, waar queer energie centraal staat, diversiteit wordt gevierd en de underground geworteld blijft in zorg, eenheid en authenticiteit.

    Op de piekdag van World Pride zet SEXYLAND op het Homomonument een tandje bij. Of beter gezegd: een heel gebit vol vlijmscherpe tanden!
    Pride is a protest? Ja, duh.

    Maar komt die boodschap nog keihard aan? Nee. Daarom PRIDE IS A RIOT!

    Op zaterdag 1 augustus klimmen zo'n tweehonderd sprekers, liveartiesten, kunstenaars en dj's de barricades op om de boel flink wakker te schudden. De hele kleurenwaaier krijgt een plek en tegelijkertijd focussen we op de mensen die het 't hardst nodig hebben: transgender, intersekse, non-binair, en ja: cisgender hetero bondgenoten. Want zonder de onvolwaardige steun van de meerderheid van die laatste groep komt de queergemeenschap nooit vooruit.

    Al twintig jaar lang is FPQ (beter bekend als F*cking Pop Queers) een plek waar popmuziek en queer nachtleven samenkomen. Wat begon in 2006 op woensdagavonden in STUDIO80 en later uitgroeide tot een maandelijks feest in Jimmy Woo, is inmiddels een vaste waarde binnen de Amsterdamse queer scene.

    In die twintig jaar is er veel veranderd. Wat ooit tussen de regels door gelezen moest worden, is steeds vaker voluit zichtbaar geworden. Denk aan een blik, een outfit of een popsong met een dubbele laag. Queer cultuur verschoof van coded naar celebrated, en van niche naar een onmiskenbare kracht binnen pop- en clubcultuur.

    Tijdens WorldPride viert FPQ haar 20-jarig jubileum met het thema “Greatest Hits”: een ode aan de tracks, momenten en nachten die deze ontwikkeling hebben gevormd. Van luidkeelse meezingers tot nieuwe anthems. Zie het als een viering van waar we vandaan komen, waar we nu staan en alles wat nog komen gaat.

    Voor deze editie kijken we uit een samenwerking met onze sisters uit Berlijn, VRAU, waarmee we World Pride Amsterdam afsluiten. In het Braziliaans betekent ‘je raba schudden’: dansen met je billen omhoog en omlaag — jezelf vieren zonder je druk te maken om wat anderen denken. Het draait om plezier, creativiteit en vrijheid in je lijf, samen met anderen. BIXARIA draait Braziliaanse hedendaagse elektronische muziek, maar is veel meer dan een doorsnee clubnacht. Performers en publiek maken samen de nacht. Elke editie heeft een thema — dus kom verkleed, live your fantasy en let go!

    VRAU
    VRAU is een queer Braziliaans feest in Berlijn dat de levendige cultuur van queer baile funk viert en promoot. We brengen de diversiteit van Braziliaanse muziek naar Europa, van Baile Funk tot andere genres die onze queer gemeenschap vormen. Sinds 2023 delen we deze energie in Duitsland. VRAU wordt georganiseerd door queer mensen en verwelkomt iedereen die openstaat voor dans, verbinding en feest. De kern van VRAU bestaat uit zware bas, twerken en het vieren van de vreugde van Braziliaanse muziek door beweging. Op onze dansvloer om hoe vrij je je voelt, hoe respectvol je met anderen omgaat én hoe hard je met je billen kunt schudden. Daarmee brengen we de sfeer, vrijheid en collectieve energie van queerfeesten in Brazilië en Berlijn naar Amsterdam. VRAU werd opgericht door @hi.o.wav met één duidelijke missie: een open en veilige ruimte creëren waar queer immigranten zich vrij kunnen uiten, verbinden en thuis kunnen voelen.

    Wat kun je verwachten?
    Bij BIXARIA gaan we niet uit van iemands gender en maakt het niet uit hoe je eruitziet. Dit is een plek voor experiment — op jouw manier, zoals jij het nodig hebt. We hanteren een deurbeleid en werken met een Gender Awareness Team onder leiding van Mother Lucía: gendercoach en floor manager, altijd aanwezig om te ondersteunen, begeleiden en waken over het welzijn van onze community gedurende de hele nacht. Onze ruimte is er in de eerste plaats voor immigrant-, BIPOC- en experimentele communities — de communities waar wij zelf deel van uitmaken. Maar iedereen die de vibe komt supporten is welkom. BIXARIA wordt georganiseerd door La Cigra$$ninha, een kunstenaar met community-gedreven projecten in meerdere landen.

We vieren vijf jaar compromisloze glamour, sexy protesten en het heetste talent. Voor Ă©Ă©n nacht brengt The Patchwork Family de community samen die het collectief vanaf het allereerste begin heeft gedragen, voor een avond vol collectieve uitbundigheid.

    Voor deze Grand Family Affair begint de avond met een energieke Best Of-show: een herinterpretatie van de meest iconische performances en momenten van de afgelopen vijf jaar. Verwacht een achtbaanrit van veertig minuten vol seks, drama en extravagantie, tot leven gebracht door een nieuwe generatie makers naast vertrouwde gezichten.

    Afterparty
    Daarna volgt niet zomaar een afterparty, maar The Grand Family Affair. Na de Best Of-show nemen dj’s Europarking, Faggatron, Slimfit en YoungWoman de Grote Zaal over, begeleid door spraakmakende performances. De Kelder wordt omgetoverd tot een archeologische opgravingssite, waar bezoekers via een multimediale installatie de geschiedenis van The Patchwork Family kunnen ontdekken, aangevuld met performances en dj-sets. Bezoekers krijgen bovendien de kans om zich te laten fotograferen door Kees de Klein, al jarenlang de favoriete fotograaf van The Patchwork Family, of een iconische Family Affair-airbrush tattoo te laten zetten.
