Queer latin night

Nieuwland, Pieter Nieuwlandstraat 93-95, Amsterdam

We are back this Friday to catch the early autumn vibe with you, a workshop of samba de gafieira and social dance session.

🧩In the workshop of this edition you'll learn the basic rhythms and steps of Samba de Gafieira.

Samba de Gafieira is a lively, playful, and also elegant dance from Brazil. It's danced to samba music and traces its origins to dance parties in Rio de Janeiro called gafieiras.

The workshop will be taught by Renata and Matheus, teachers with 10+ years of dance experience, both originally from Brazil. As part of the Coletivo Gafieira Amsterdam, they work on keeping the Samba de Gafieira spirit alive in Amsterdam.

🩰After the workshop we'll dance to the yummy samba, salsa, bachata, merengue, forró and perreo beats with DJ RZ_P. Pieter Nieuwlandstraat 93, Amsterdam Oost
