    On the day of we shall talk about many topics that are related to the body, mind and soul. For example what did 2025 make your body feel. What has uplifted your spirit and how did we nourish our mind this year. How did we take care of our inner child etc

    While making a clay art doll piece guided by a visual representation of what our soul wanted to give at this event. So join me on this memorable day 21 November and unleash your creativity and inner child desires 👼🏾🫂.

    For the people that don’t know Yeye Watra this is a small description:

    Yeye watra is a 18+ queer collective based in Rotterdam centering black QTBIPOC marginalized genders.

    The reason why Yeye Watra is created is to get to know your inner child/yeye, herbal medicine and spiritual practices better. But also to rest together and uplift your creativity in a safe QTBIPOC space.

    And with these practices/events/workshops you can Opo yu yeye, and Sabi yu srefi which translates into “Raise your spirit/soul”, “, and “Know yourself”

    On the second evening, workshop participants are invited as guests to a kinky dinner party where their dominant persona can come out to play!     These past months Hasret has been delving into LGBTQIA+ Muslim stories in cinema and TV, moving from short cult films from South Asia to European Netflix productions, to explore how our stories are told on screen. What recurring elements appear in these depictions?

    The evening includes a presentation, screenings of a few short films/scenes, and closes with a sonic session to continue the conversations. This is an evening for and by the LGBTQIA+ Muslim community: to share our joys and worries, and to connect with kin.

    It is hard to carry the weight of grieving someone who is still with you, and it’s a scary road. But you don’t have to go through it alone, let’s support each other!

    Join this support circle to help hold each other’s weight and letting pain and fear out, for at least a moment.

    BONUS: We will also experiment with creative expression (drawing, painting, writing) to practice the therapeutic power of transforming our pain through art.

    ✨ Guest speaker #1: Ryan Ramharak
    Ryan Ramharak (they/them) is a queer, non-binary parent. They are the baba of Ravi (their child) and the partner of David. Ryan carried Ravi in their own belly and now supports other trans and non-binary parents, parents-to-be, and those with a desire to have and carry children through their support group, the Zeepaardjesgroep.

    ✨ Guest speaker #2: Luciano
    Luciano (they/them) is a non-binary BIPOC parent, social worker, and photographer raising a teenager while navigating a neurotypical world. Through their lived experience, activism, and creative work, Luciano brings deep insight into parenting with care, resilience, and the continuous fight for more equitable and safe(r) spaces.

    Together, Ryan and Luciano will share their stories and reflect on queer family-making, parenting beyond the binary, and creating joyful, intentional homes.
